Obituary of Hazel Hintz
Funeral services for Hazel Hintz, 87, of Milford, Iowa will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Faith Pentecostal Church in Spencer, Iowa at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Langdon, Iowa at a later date. A visitation with family present will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. at Turner Jenness Funeral Home in Milford, Iowa. Memorials may be designated to the Pentecostal Church in Spencer.
Hazel Mae Tuttle, daughter of Fred and Hazel Mae (Wilson) Tuttle, was born October 18, 1929 in Spencer, Iowa. She was raised in the Spencer area and graduated from Spencer High School.
Hazel was united in marriage with Otto Hintz on November 21, 1952 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They lived in Northwest Iowa their entire marriage.
Hazel had many interests including her church, fishing, playing cards, dancing, having coffee with friends and baking. She was known for her skills in her kitchen. Above all she cherished her family and spending time with them.
Hazel passed away February 14, 2017 at the Spencer Hospital at eighty-seven years of age.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband of sixty-four years, Otto of Milford, Iowa; their three children, daughter, Sandra and her husband, Darwin Wilson of Sioux Falls; sons, Richard Hintz and John Hintz, both of Milford; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian and Vivian, both of Spencer and a host of other relatives and friends.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Alice; three brothers, Gary, Melvin and Allen.
