My very sincere sympathies. Velma was such a great influence. We worked together in Le Mars and it was always great to hear her chuckle and laugh at some of the craziest things we'd see each day. She was an impeccable seamstress and even a more impressive person of character. She and Harlan will always have a very special place in my heart. God With Us (Emmanuel) Velma!

Harlen, I was so sorry to hear that Velma has left us. She was a great friend, who always treated me like one of the family. Everyone who knew her will miss her very much. I know God is taking care of her now, just as you did for so long. Keeping you and all your family in my thoughts and prayers.
