Dearest Dan I am so sorry I never got to say goodbye.When we met I was in highschool working at the windmill you were the cutest station guy there. I think we could of been married and had kids but I was to scared to tell you that. When you were gone in the truck i missed you so much, I resented you being away for long stretches and treated you bad when you came home, I never got to apologize for that, you were a good man and i treated you bad. please forgive me, I think of you daily since you died and have cried many tears. I should of been a better person and loved you more, forgive me. You have been in my dreams alot and I can see your face just like it was back in 1984, I always wonder why god takes the good ones and leaves others behind,I tried to find you so I could apologize to you but you had a new life and two gorgeous little boys, Good job I wish you didn't have to leave them they are so little to lose their dad, and i'm sure cindy is a good mom. I hope you can rest now and I hope I can let you know I miss you ... I came by today to see you I just had to let you know if I knew the last time that I held you was the last time I would of held you I would of never let go, oh its kept me awake nights wondering lying in the dark just asking why ,I've all ways been told you won't be called home until its your time, I guess heaven was needing a hero somebody just like you. brave enough to stand up for what they believe in and follow it through,when I try to make it make sense in my mind the only conclusion i come to is heaven was needing a hero LIKE YOU,your such a part of who i am now that part will just be void no matter how much i need you now heaven was needing you more! Rest in peace my hero, friend, boyfriend, Love you with all my heart, Deborah
