Obituary of Adolph Laubach

Adolph Robert Laubach was born to John and Katie (Holdman) Laubach on December 28, 1919. He was christened on March 31, 1929 at his home. He attended country school until the 8th grade and was confirmed in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Sioux Valley, Minnesota in December, 2001. Adolph bought his farm in Jackson County, Minnesota in March of 1953. He farmed there until 1975 when he rented it out. In January of 1987, he moved to Sioux Valley Township and lived there until November, 2000 when he moved to Silver Lake Apartments. He entered the Lake Park Care Center in November, 2007. Adolph enjoyed family reunions, playing cards and was proud of his John Deere tractor. He passed away September 11, 2013 at the Lake Park Care Center at the age of ninety-three. He is survived by one sister, Laura Recher and one brother, Harold Laubach; niece, Karen Zinn and her husband, Ken and their family; many other nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Katie; brothers, Ernest, Alfred and Willie; sisters, Bertha, Otillia and Gertrude.
