Obituary of Diana Egan
Diana Egan was born November 15, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Leslie and Martha Gardener.
Diana completed high school and was united in marriage to Raymond Francis Egan on January 7, 1961 in Elsworth, Minnesota. She lived in Minnesota, Iowa and various places in the United States and Europe as a child with her mother and stepfather, Martha and Arthur Cecil. Diana lived in Spirit Lake since 1994. She was a homemaker and bail bondsman.
Diana was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, houseplants, ceramics, bonsai trees, sewing, woodcrafts, rosary making, wood burning and engraving.
Diana passed away January 21, 2012 at Daugherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at seventy-three years of age.
She is survived by her husband Raymond Egan; daughters Lisa and Teresa; sons, Robert, David, and Jeff; sixteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother Reid and sister Patricia.
She was preceded in death by her sister Leota and her son John.
