Obituary of Al Moriston

Alfred Leonard Moriston was born on August 10, 1945 in Sioux City, Iowa to Leonard and Lois (Larson) Moriston. For most of his life, he was a cook who was proud of his profession. He worked at various kitchens including Indian Hills Care Center and Cruises' Restaurant, which are both in Sioux City. Al spent the last seventeen years living in Lake Park with his girlfriend, Connie Zeitler. Al was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and camping. He was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan and also loved his pets very much. Survivors include his girlfriend, Connie Zeitler; four children, Terry and Robert Moriston (with Kay Allen) and Tony and Jane Shear (with Connie Zeitler); four grandchildren, Raven, Sarah, Josh, and Joel. He is also survived by four sisters: Donna (Ronnie) Mattix and Karen (Bobby) Comstock, both of Sioux City, Iowa, Lisa Gaffey of Indianola, Iowa, and Wanda (Jeff) Miller of Le Mars, Iowa along with many nieces and nephews.
