Obituary of Connie Lux

Constance Diane Lux was born May 24, 1934 in Everly, Iowa, the daughter of George and Edna (Lockey) Rausch. On September 6, 1952, Connie was united in marriage to Denton Lux in Spencer, Iowa. The couple lived in Hartley, Everly, Albert City and Sutherland. After Denton's passing in 2006, Connie remained on the Sutherland acreage for several years. In August, 2011, she moved to Spencer. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and knitting. In their younger years, Connie and Denton loved to dance. She was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church in Everly. Connie passed away April 16, 2012 at the Spencer Municipal Hospital in Spencer, Iowa. Connie is survived by her daughter, Diane Kramer and her husband, Scott, of San Antonio, Texas; son, Jeff Lux and his wife, Carolina, of Laurens, Iowa; three granddaughters, Elizabeth Kramer Halle, Emily Kramer Bubela and Amy Lux Hogrefe; great-grandchildren, Carter, Addyson and Olivia. She was preceded in death by her father, George; mother, Edna; step-father, Al Masscey; sisters, Kathryn Rohlf and Marion Ott; brothers, Bill Rausch and Bob Rausch.
