Obituary of Marcella Reese

Marcella Ilean Reese was born June 14, 1925 in Pocahontas, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Mary Ernst. She attended country school in Pocahontas. On February 4, 1951, Marcella was united in marriage to Raymon Reese in Algona, Iowa. Marcella lived in Pocahontas, Mallard, Halfa and Graettinger, Iowa. She then moved to Jackson, Minnesota where they farmed. At retirement, Marcella moved to Estherville, Iowa and then to Phoenix, Arizona in 2001. Marcella enjoyed knitting, crocheting, puzzle books, gardening and spending time with her family. Marcella passed away July 13, 2011 in Mesa, Arizona at eighty-six years of age. She is survived by her son, Louis and his wife, B'Ann, of Pheonix, Arizona; daughter, Lois of Mankato, Minnesota; brother, Everett and his wife, Evelyn, of Pocahontas, Iowa and sister, Bernadaine of Pocahontas, Iowa. Marcella was preceded in death by her husband, Raymon; parents; brothers, William and Frank; sisters, Mary, Bertha and Ruth.
