Obituary of Ryan Bush

Ryan Lee Bush was born June 12, 1975 in Spirit Lake, Iowa, the son of Shane and Bette (Soat) Bush. He graduated from George Little Rock High School and then attended South Dakota State University. Ryan served in the United States Army. He was a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom and served in Iraq and Kuwait. Ryan's greatest joy was spending time with his kids. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends, showing cattle, farming, hunting and fishing. Ryan passed away October 3, 2011 at his home in Lake Park, Iowa at thirty-six years of age. He is survived by his sons, Cody, Riley and Wyatt Bush of Bryant, South Dakota; parents, Shane and Bette Bush of Milford, Iowa; sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Jason Hieronimus and their children, Mia and Charlie, of Rushmore, Minnesota; grandmother, Lorraine Bush; special friend, Emily Childs, and her daughter, Riley Emma, of Lake Park; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Ryan was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Glen Bush; maternal grandparents, Ray and Velva Soat. A memorial fund will be established for the benefit of Ryan's sons.
