Obituary of Elwin Clark

Elwin Eugene Clark was born December 26, 1943 in Spirit Lake, Iowa, the son of Ralph Elbert Clark and Donna Marie Trunnell. He attended the Lake Park School. Elwin served in the United States Air Force. On March 1, 1964, Elwin was united in marriage to Doris Gunderson in Terril, Iowa. The family made their home in Terril while Elwin worked for Pure Fishing which he retired from years later. Elwin was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Terril, Iowa, the American Legion and the Terril City Council. Elwin lived for the Hawkeyes. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping and spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Elwin passed away November 3, 2011 at the Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at sixty-seven years of age. He is survived by his daughters, Teri (Donnie) Moyer of Terril and Tracy (Bruce) Enderson of Dickens; grandsons, Jeremy and Danial Moyer, Tyler (Dallas), Trevin and Taylor Enderson; great-grandchildren, Jayden and Cayleb Enderson; brothers, Jerry (Ilene) Clark and Merlin (Cindy) Clark; sisters, Jeanette Kellar, Julie (Dan) Fordyce and Judi (Dan) Renner; brothers-in-law, Duane (Yvonne) Gunderson and Bruce (Linda) Gunderson. Elwin was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Doris Clark.
