I worked with Jewel for many years at Lakes Regional Hospital. I always loved trying to get her to smile.....which she did. She liked to talk to herself as she cleaned up after all of us nurses. If you took the time to befriend her she wasn't as "hard" as she seemed to be. Well Jewel, now that you are in Heaven, you know that I am the one that sent you the "bluebird of happiness"......I hope that it brought you some happiness over the last few years. Rest in peace my friend

Jewel worked for many years in the kitchen at Lakes Regional Healthcare. I retired 3 years ago, but enjoyed Jewel. Sometimes it took her awhile to smile, but when she did, what a beautiful smile she had.
