Connie Faulkner posted a condolence

I am so sorry I missed the funeral. I was at Mom's nursing home in Milford some time in January and she told me she had heard Pam was in the hospital. I just assumed she would get well again. Don't listen to KICD much any more and no one told me she had passed.
I remember Pam and Jo Ann when I was in the 1st and 2nd grade at Milford school. I remember sometimes Mom would pick you guys up to go to school or some event.
Then later in life she became best friends with my Aunt LaVonne and their club for the Memory Brothers. I was reintroduced to her by LaVonne and she and I both remembered at the same time - "Are you the same one I knew in grade school - Yes".
Every time I went to something at the Union Memorial Church - bake sale, church supper, she was there.
Bless her family and I'm sure she is looking down at us and happy with where she is.

I am so sorry to hear of Pam's death. I met her only once - at my father's funeral - yet she was so warm, I felt I had know her all my life. She spoke of working with my father at the Spencer Hospital and was full of wonderful stories. She made an instant connection with me - even remembered that Jack and I went to senior prom together! I was left feeling that I had met a beautiful, caring soul. We talked a bit about cancer, but she had a positive attitude that put all in perspective. My condolences to her family. I know she will be missed.

I am so sorry that I didn't get to come to Pam's funeral to let you all know how much I will miss Pam's smiling face. I would run into her in many different businesses usually once a month. She was always such a positive person and full of love for her family and friends and of course, The Memory Brothers. My love goes out to all of her family and friends. She was an angel here on earth. She now has her wings!

Our deepest sympathies to Pam's family. We first met Pam at a Memory Bros. dance in Paulina. She greeted us as though we were best friends, and we knew she was a special lady from then on. Each time we saw her, she reached out with genuine warmth, a big smile & had an inner glow of joy just made you want to hug her! What a beautiful lady. We will miss her so very much. May our Lord comfort you in the days ahead.

My sympathy to Pam's loved ones. She will be missed by so many. Pam and I worked out together at CURVES. She was always so much fun to be with. As we got to know each other we discovered we celebrated the same birthdates. She invited me several times to celebrate our birthdays together at the Memory Brothers shows at Table 316. She was the #1 fan of the Memory Brothers she hated to see them leave the lakes area as she so looked forward to their music. May God wrap his arms around her brother, Jack, Doug and so many friends whose lives she has touched over the years.

My cousin Pam was a truly lovely person. Every year she sent Christmas cards that included a note that kept us all informed about what was happening in her life, the good (like getting new gutters on the house) and the bad (her struggles with health issues). They were humble and humbling letters from a dear person I didn't get to see nearly enough. She loved her family, especially her niece Leah. And of course, Jack. I just received a birthday card from her three weeks ago. It's hard to believe she's gone.

Pam was a dear and loyal friend to my parents, Leonard and Ava Root, starting when my father was pastor at Union Memorial in Milford. After mom died, Pam stayed in close touch with dad and when my dad moved to Des Moines in 2010 due to health issues, Pam called literally every Sunday evening to talk with him. Pam and I became close during that time. She was present at my father's funeral in Mason City in 2015. The two of us continued to have occasional phone calls even after dad died because of the friendship we had developed. I considered her as much a friend of mine as she had been for my parents and I will never forget the support she provided them!
